Our exclusive purposes are charitable and educational and only the benefit of the neighborhood, its welfare, independent and self-sustaining survival as a core Atlanta neighborhood, and its return to the quality of a neighborhood that it once attained in Atlanta, Georgia.
Summerhill has proudly been the development catalyst for many projects including but not limited to Greenlea Commons, The Orchard subdivision, Terry Place, Richmond Heights, a hotel and other fine projects.
Over the last 20 years, we have has caused to be developed over 150 low -income homes in the neighborhood with various construction and family partners. We have also added 150 moderate income homes and families to the neighborhood. All of the real estate development are based on the Comprehensive Master Development Plan established, published and incorporated into the City of Atlanta development plan by SNDC.
SNDC has through its employees, associates, key consultants and partners demonstrated a track record of successfully attracting, focusing and completing projects throughits many and varied political, business, social and religious institutions in Summerhill. It has retained architects, attorneys, engineers, land planners, real estate and title professionals and all the people required to develop a neighborhood from acquisition of real estate to construction lending and final completion of the project.
As a part of its operating funding, in addition to fund raising activities of its Board, SNDC depends on funds shared from a partnership with the Atlanta Braves organization.
